Welcome - This is Us

This is our first blog post. YAY! This is our opportunity to tell you a bit about who we are. With this post it is our hope that you get some insight into this community.

Firstly, GALS is an acronym. It stands for Get A Life Sister. Initially, the name came from seeing women having so many responsibilities to the point that they didn’t have a “life”. Over time the meaning of the name evolved to mean yes, get a life, but also get a life filled with God. Yeshua (Jesus) said that He came so that we can have life and life more abundantly. John 10:10 (AMP), which is our foundational scripture states – The thief comes only in order to steal and kill and destroy. I came that they may have and enjoy life, and have it in abundance [to the full, till it overflows]. That’s what we want to do. That’s what we were created for. We want to live in the abundance that a relationship with Yahuwah provides.

In this ministry we like to have fun. We will have loads of fun, but the main goal here is to produce disciples. We are mandated to build a tribe of righteous remnant warrior women!! Hallelujah!

What does that look like? That looks like us operating in the Earth as Yeshua did. We are to feed His sheep. Feeding His sheep correctly produces in the sheep a love for God that makes them want to further the message of the Gospel.

Our goal is to teach, train, and equip women in the ministry of the Gospel through discipleship and service. We have Bible readings, Bite Size Bible Study, Be Well Wednesday, our biweekly blog, and other conversational content to help you glean, grow, and share.

Standing in the truth of who God has called you to be can be difficult. Some may even consider it a heavy burden. That is why we are here. Together we hold each other up and together we hold each other accountable. We are your sisters in Christ and we are here to help you in your faith walk. We are your GALS and we welcome you!
